Local Company Recognized for Fulfillment Excellence
Napa, CA, and Alexandria, VA, May 21, 2007— Napa, California-based mailing and fulfillment company, TFC, Inc., has recently been recognized as one of the first fulfillment operators in the country to receive fulfillment accreditation by the Alexandria, Virginia-based national trade association, Mailing & Fulfillment Service Association. At a special ceremony at MFSA’s annual Fulfillment Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, on April 27, MFSA Chairman Terri Hedges presented the MFSA Fulfillment Accreditation plaque to TFC President Connie Hill.
Ms. Hill states, “MFSA Fulfillment Accreditation gives TFC clients and prospects the added security in knowing that TFC adheres to the highest industry standard in collateral and marketing material distribution. For our service teams the accreditation is a public acknowledgement of the quality and standard of service we’ve always set for ourselves. The success we have shared with our customers in executing their most important programs has allowed us to expand beyond fulfillment to include managing customer data and one-to-one marketing communications for true campaign management.”
MFSA recently unveiled the industry’s first fulfillment accreditation program after years of research and development. The purpose behind this program is to enable fulfillment operators to be recognized for their documented commitment to fulfillment, to help other fulfillment operators to improve their operations, and to show customers which companies are the “cream of the crop.” Accredited companies must complete a comprehensive application seeking documentation in 11 critical general operational areas and be subject to an audit of their operations in 14 technical and operational areas such as receiving, and put-away, order picking, order packing, hand assembly, returns, reporting, etc. Overall the accreditation program has 168 criteria to examine. Applicants must pass all the required elements (55) and 75% of the supplemental elements (113).
